Doorway Sessions

Kim has a way with imagery, imagination, and transformation. Her simple but profound approach is a breath of fresh air. I experienced her as a very present, intuitive, and gentle guide to the source of my own wisdom.

All the images and metaphors that we've identified and discussed over the past few months have truly provided me a lifeline for working out my life concerns, as well as hone my creative work.

My creativity awakened and I tapped into deep potentials within myself. The icing on the cake for me was writing a song that deeply touches most people who listen to it. I had never written a song before, and it was as if the music and words just flowed out of me.

Kim Hermanson's Doorway Sessions are amazing. I gained so much valuable insight after just one session and apply this to my everyday life in many ways. Kim is highly creative, intuitive and kind. Her attention to and respect for the client's inner vision are superb.
-- Natasha Ravnik, Event Planner

We often subconsciously hold metaphoric pictures that aren’t helpful. For example, believing our external environment to be a hostile place, feeling that we're “stuck,” viewing our struggles as “trying to climb over a wall,” or feeling that we have “no space” to be ourselves. Aristotle said, “The soul never thinks without an image.” All of us hold an infinite variety of metaphoric lenses, and many of them are unconscious. As the ground of our thinking and perception, they are the medium through which we look at the world. Subsequently, when we change our primary metaphors, we change our lives.
